Blackhawk Logistics' is built on a management team with over 80 combined years of logistics, warehousing and transportation experience. The Blackhawk Team relies on their experience, but is committed to meeting each challenge head on with a “can-do” attitude. There is no logistics challenge that the creative talent here cannot solve effectively for our client's.

Facilities

Blackhawk's warehouse complex is located in North Charleston, South Carolina within close proximity of the ports and the industrial base. The facilities are constructed of insulated concrete panel construction, which provides a cooler storage facility with less humidity than a comparable metal or un-insulated concrete. The facilities have 100% sprinkler protection, ADT security and a six-inch reinforced concrete super flat floor system. The facilities have 50 loading doors for trucks and 20 loading doors for rail cars. The facilities comprise two buildings with approximately 511,000 square feet and are located on 34 acres on N. Rhett Avenue, which is within one mile of I-526 and allows easy in and out access for trucks.

Transportation

Blackhawk's transportation terminal is located within close proximity to all of the ports and has a fully enclosed container yard, which is secured by locking gates. This terminal facilitates container shipments to and from the ports, both to our warehouses and for direct shipments. Blackhawk utilizes a fleet of its own trucks, along with a qualified group of owner operators to facilitate a client's shipments.
